Oprah To Bring Back 'The Oprah Winfrey Show?'

A source claims the multi-million deal could be done by January

It seems Oprah Winfrey is missing her old gig that made her a mega superstar.

A report from Star magazine alleges the media queen is entertaining the idea of heading back to network TV to reboot her talk show, which ran from 1986 to 2011. The report states:

"Oprah Winfrey is seriously considering re-upping her hit talk show – and accepting the $500 million paycheck that could come with it.

'She could make half a billion bucks just by turning the lights on,' tattles a source.

'ABC wants her, only first they'd have to buy out her network, OWN.

'Oprah misses being the queen of daytime talk,' adds the insider. 'If she were back on the air the fans would make her number one in a heartbeat.

The new deal could be announced in January."

Winfrey is currently juggling the demands of her OWN network and O, The Oprah Magazine, among other projects. Think she has what it takes to return to (and dominate) the daytime circuit?
