If there's one qualification for joining "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" it's that you must bring the drama. Apparently, Kim Fields didn't get the memo.
The "Living Single" actress was rumored to be joining the hit reality show and had already filmed a few test scenes for the upcoming season. But sources say Fields was a bit of a bore and producers have decided against casting her.
From Straight From The A:
"[...] Kim Fields has officially been eliminated from the RHOA casting pool.
My sources have confirmed that Fields taped with several of the cast over the past month, but she was referred to as being 'too dry' in every scene. Apparently Fields chose the reserved approach and ‘Housewives’ clearly isn’t the place for that."
While Bravo has yet to confirm or deny any casting news, it's pretty clear Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore have secured their peaches for the upcoming season. Porsha Williams' name is still in the mix and recent reports claim Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton have finalized their contracts to return to the show.
With Nene Leakes out, it's imperative that producers keep the drama and ratings high, so being "reserved" just won't cut it. Sorry, Kim.
