Sources claim the Jackson family patriarch suffered a stroke and three heart attacks after a night of partying

Joe Jackson has been discharged from a Brazil hospital amid reports of his Viaga usage, which allegedly led to a stroke and multiple heart attacks last month.

The Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo said Tuesday the 87-year-old father of the late Michael Jackson and the patriarch of the Jackson family was released on Monday. While the hospital provided no further details, media reports claim the medical emergency was caused by a dangerous mix of alcohol, Viagra and a night of hard partying.

Jackson had been in town to celebrate his 87th birthday and wasted no time in getting the party started. Daily Mail reports he was spotted dining with a group of women hours after his arrival and days later partied with another group until the early morning.

The report states:

"He was 'feeling unwell' the following day - July 26 -, according to his representative, and was eventually taken to hospital for what turned to have been a stroke.

It was followed by multiple cardiac arrests – including one where his heart stopped for 10 seconds – that led doctors to fit him with a pacemaker.

But the story of how he got there appears to be much more salacious than anyone would imagine.

According to a local newspaper, the octogenarian 'overdid it' on his second big night out with his lady friends.

As they visited a number of bars and restaurants, he is said to have mixed the local cocktail of caipirinha - made with Brazilian sugarcane rum – with other drinks.

But the 'bigger problem' was that he also had taken 'three little blue pills' for erectile dysfunction."

A rep for Jackson has denied any such story, stating that it's normal for folks to talk about his client anywhere he goes.

"He had a headache, took some medicine, and it went away. But afterwards he wasn't feeling well," the rep explained. "It was then that we decided he needed medical exams. He had to be rushed to hospital. He was between life and death. He had three cardiac arrests. The first lasted 10 seconds, the others, four seconds each."

Jackson was visited by his daughter Janet and son Jermaine while in the hospital. He is said to be recovering in a Sao Paulo apartment and is expected to return to the United States on Saturday.
