Is he or isn't he? Chris Brown is double checking the biological connection to his daughter.
An attorney for Nia Guzman, the mother of one-year-old Royalty, tells Hollywood Life the singer has asked a judge to order a second paternity test for the young girl. The reason behind the request remains unknown, leaving many to question whether it's just a formality for court or if Brown is second guessing his ties to Royalty.
Brown and Guzman remain at odds over child support after she demanded more money ($15,000 per month). The pair had initially agreed on a payment plan of $10,000 per month, but the singer only wound up paying $2,500 per month.
When Guzman asked for an increase, she claims Brown stopped paying altogether because he thought the request was ridiculous.
If Brown proves to be Royalty's biological father, he will be given the right to present his argument for child support payments and custody guidelines. He claims Guzman has been keeping him from his daughter and is asking a judge to draw up an agreement that will be fair to both parties.
