Nick Gordon is giving one last effort in persuading Bobby Brown to allow him to see Bobbi Kristina Brown before she's laid to rest. Up until this point, Bobby hasn't budged on his stance, but an email from Gordon might change his mind.
TMZ reportedly obtained an email Gordon sent to Bobby, begging the singer to allow him into Bobbi Kristina's funeral on Saturday (Aug. 1). Gordon played the love card and explained to Bobby that he needed one last chance to say goodbye.
"I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye," Gordon stated in the email. TMZ reports he also included Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Pat Houston, in the correspondence.
"I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance," Gordon added. "[...] Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there."
Bobby and Pat have good reason to keep Gordon outside of the funeral service. The 25-year-old is being considered a person of interest for his involvement in Bobbi Kristina's drowning on Jan. 31. Media reports suggest authorities are looking to charge him with involuntary manslaughter for arranging to get drugs for Bobbi Kristina on the day of the incident.
Gordon has yet to be formally charged.
Funeral services for Bobbi Kristina have been set for Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. She will be laid to rest next to her mother, Whitney Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey on Monday. Both services will be private.
