Plus, the results of the 22-year-old's initial autopsy

Media reports suggest Bobbi Kristina Brown's death will now be handled as a homicide investigation as authorities look into the circumstances that led to her drowning on Jan. 31.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say the D.A. and police are investigating any signs of foul play and Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, continues to be a person of interest. While nearly six months have passed since the incident and Bobbi Kristina's death, authorities are reportedly confident they can find a link between the drowning and Gordon's alleged involvement.

Bobbi Kristina, 22, died Sunday at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia after spending months in a medically induced coma and in hospice care. A police report described her death as a drowning after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area home.

An initial autopsy report was issued Monday which stated no "obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted," according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. The statement continued:

"No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified. Additional laboratory testing will be performed.

Subpoenas have been issued to obtain needed documentary information. We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed. We anticipate that these processes will take several weeks."

Funeral services for Bobbi Kristina have been set for Saturday (Aug. 1) at 11 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. She will be laid to rest next to her mother, Whitney Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey on Monday. Both services will be private.
