Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are back in court over child support payments pertaining to their 7-year-old daughter Nahla.
TMZ reports the former couple's child support trial began Tuesday, as Berry asked a judge to reduce her monthly payments. The actress is currently paying out $16,000 a month to Aubry and is requesting that the amount be adjusted to $3,000 a month.
Berry says she has no issue paying Aubry to care for their daughter when he has physical custody, but she believes he's using the excess cash to avoid getting a job.
Aubry, a former model, argues that he lost a lot of work after he and Berry's then-fiancé (now husband), Olivier Martinez, got into a physical altercation in November 2012. Both men were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
In June 2014, Berry was ordered to pay Aubry $16,000 a month, as well as a retroactive payment of $115,000 and $300,000 for his attorney fees.
Berry and Aubry share joint custody of their daughter.
