A source says 22-year-old Steven Stepho was on his path to sobriety before relapsing

An alleged former drug dealer of Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon has been found dead of a suspected overdose, reports Radar Online.

Steven Stepho was found dead June 29 of what his family believes to be a drug overdose. They say the 22-year-old had been trying to turn his life around but recently relapsed.

"He's been on the path to sobriety for a while — attending AA meetings — but they believe that he fell back into using heroin or with mixing it," a source told the site.

Earlier this year, Stepho spoke to Radar about his dealings with Brown and Gordon, claiming they would "get [drugs] sometimes, but not regularly." He said he had since turned over a new leaf with the drugs and was working a new job with a child on the way.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office has yet to determine the cause of death.
