The Jamaican-born star will detail her success as a model, actress and singer

It's been nearly two years since we first told you about a memoir from model/actress/singer Grace Jones and, now, the wait is over. The 67-year-old star is set to release her book, "I'll Never Write My Memoirs," this fall.

In an earlier statement on the memoir, Jones said: "I wrote a song called Art Groupie. First line said 'I'll never write my memoirs' — that was a long time ago. Since then, I thought, if I don't do it, somebody else will."

The book will follow Jones' journey from her strict religious upbringing in Jamaica to her signing as a model at the age of 17. Fans will also get her first-hand account of rooming with model Jerry Hall, sleepovers with actress Jessica Lange, her time at the famous Studio 54 and more.

"I"ll Never Write My Memoirs" will hit bookshelves Sept. 29 from Gallery Books.
