Amber Rose, Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora hit the purple carpet Thursday night in Los Angeles for the screening of their new film, Sister Code.
The film-- also starring Essence Atkins, Duane Martin, Marcus T. Paulk and Erica Ash-- focuses on three foster sisters with dramatically different personalities who are learning the lessons of love, life and sisterhood.
Earlier this week, we spoke with Sidora about the film and her role as Lavae. She expressed a love for her character because she says they're both big on family.
"The film is about sisterhood ... loving, supporting and uplifting each
other," she said. "My character Lavae is suffering from Lupus and is also pregnant.
During the film, you see her suffering with complications and her
sisters are there to help her get through this unfortunate situation."
But the story wouldn't be true to life if it didn't offer up some sibling drama. While there are no spoilers here on the "tragic sisterly secret" that's revealed in the film, Sidora did give us her opinion on the ultimate breach of "sister code."
"Sharing each other's men!" she said.
Sister Code opens today in select theaters.
