Would You Rock the High Ponytail?

We’re seeing the hair trend make a comeback, but are we all feeling the look?

Beyonce rocked it at the Met Gala and caught slack and slayage acclaim. Nicki has been seen out with her full, textured high ponytail at her concert performances. We’re talking about the super slicked up, tightly knotted, youthful high ponytail.

It’s a tricky style for those of us who may feel insecure about showing that much of our face, forehead, ears and such. But for the most part, the high ponytail seems to work. It’s easy, complimentary to the summer heat and can be a fun way to spruce up your do for the weekend. But we want to know if women are really into this trend, or if this is just for the ladies we love to see perform.

To be honest, the high ponytail seems like it’s slowly resurrecting for the hot summer, and we’re okay with that.

First of all, it’s all about where you wear the style. Should you be at the corporate office with a ceiling high hair? Uh, no. But, snapping in a super long, thick pony for date night or even switching your style up for the weekend is always allowed. The trick is to being comfortable with knowing that people will know your pony is super fake, super long and probably super ridiculous. And you should super not care. After you accept this, get your hands on high quality option and have some fun.

Seriously, it’s just hair.
