Body Inclusivity is The New Black

Lane Bryant’s new “This Body” campaign is ready to cause a stir within the fashion industry again. After it’s controversial “I’m No Angel” campaign struck a chord with the female plus size audience, the brand decided to take representation a step further.

Featuring models like Precious Lee and Ashley Graham, the “This Body” campaign is ready to reiterate to the world (in case we missed it the first time) that each body shape and size deserves to be celebrated. Plus size women are no longer accepting to be ignored. So fashion brands can either get with it, or fall behind.

From quotes on ad images like “This Body is Made for Glamour”, we can tell that it’s truly a new day for plus size women and fashion.

The campaign will debut in the Sport’s Illustrated’s swimsuit issue.
