Teyana Taylor gathered Porsha Williams real quick over a t-shirt that Taylor believes is too similar to her own clothing line.
The demoted “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star posted a photo of a model in a long sleeved black shirt with the word "#UNBOTHERED" written across it. The promo picture says the image is “Coming Soon...Pre-Order Feb. 8th.” Williams wrote, “#Unbothered #RHOA #TeamPorsha.”
When the Harlem R&B singer saw the post she hopped right in the comment section to let the reality star know the shirt would not be coming out and she should take the post down.
“No it will not be coming out because unbothered is my clothing line, legally as well & u follow me so I’m sure you know what it is. So you should take this down,” Taylor wrote.
This makes for an interesting case. Technically anyone can create anything with the word "unbothered" if it's not legally trademarked. It’s also not like the Nene Leakes vs. Tees in the Trap that claims Leakes stole their design. Can anyone truly have legal ownership over popular catchphrases?
As of now, Williams' post is still up and she continues to hashtag her posts #unbothered.
