In what is easily being considered a "no-brainer," Halle Berry is getting into the lingerie business.
The Oscar-winning beauty announced Thursday that she's invested in the iconic French lingerie label Scandale Paris and is now co-owner of the 82-year-old brand.
"We've taken this brand and revamped it," Berry said in an interview. "But we've kept all the qualities of the Parisian sort of style intact."
The range of undergarments is "designed to uniquely celebrate the many roles woman play [...] as well as the desire to feel her best self," states a press release. The collection will feature ten items, including bras ($16 to $18) and panties ($7).
Berry has partnered with Erik Ryd (owner of Hong Kong-based manufacturer Hop Lun) to re-launch the label and is said to be very hands-on with the design process.
"I think I have a pulse on what American women want," Berry added.
The new collection is set to launch in select Target stores and on Target.com on Oct. 27. The revamped brand go international in 2015.
