A curvy chick that can dress, sing, dance and act is a bad mamajama. “Glee” star Amber Riley has launched an online plus-sized boutique with pieces from her own closet.
The “Dancing With the Stars” winner is breaking into the fashion world with a bang. Her new online boutique, RileyLandFashions, is already in need of restocking because everything is sold out.
Riley, 27, partnered with her sister to sell clothes for her curvier fans who always compliment her look. She’s taken the never-worn and slightly-worn clothes from her closet to sell online through her boutique, which doesn’t have an official website yet. In an Instagram post promoting her new fashion endeavor, she said new stock is on its way. And over on Facebook she wrote:
"My sister and I are clothes fanatics and since so many of my curvier fans always express that they like my clothes, I thought why not clean out my closet and fill up all of yours. The clothes are affordable and most are never worn! There will be an official website coming soon with more than one of [a] kind clothing and more sizes for you plus-size cuties!”
Some of the pieces include mini half shoulder dresses, sequined tops and leopard print dresses. Smart move for Riley seeing the demand in her personal clothing and turning it into a business.
