Who Had The Best Look At Soul Train Awards 2013?

Vegas was a star-studded city this weekend for the taping of Soul Train Music Awards 2013. From legends to the leaders of the new school, Hollywood’s black elite dazzled the red carpet.

The Soul Train Music Awards is major for Black music. It comes as no surprise that celebs showed up and showed out. Pantsuits, gowns and mini dresses all had their chance to shine, but a few stars had a glow that earned them the crown for best dressed.

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton owned the night. At 46, she’s still got it. The short hair, the makeup, the gown, minimum accessories and the matching nails and lip were executed to perfection. Toni is in amazing shape and exudes “grown and sexy.”
What she wore: A sheer Amato Couture gown

Melinda Williams

We love white/off-white in the fall. Melinda served white with black accents on a platter! Melinda’s dress hugged her petite figure in all the right places. The bold frontal split made the dress pop. She kept her classic short ‘do keeping all the focus on the dress. And she wow'ed.
What she wore: Haus of Falenci’ago

Jennifer Hudson

J.Hud’s dress was bold. She opted for an above the knee dress opposed to a gown. The patterns with gold and black glitter was crafted masterfully. We would’ve gone with different hair and shoes for this beauty, but the dress is a classic.
What she wore: Balmain Spring 2012 dress

This "Baby" singer rarely does any wrong. She’s working her new bob with a sheer nude and black dress. The nude pump let's the dress do all the talking.
What she wore: Reeve

Keith Sweat

That burgundy velvet jacket was the perfect addition to his off white ensemble. As this year's honoree Sweat is dressed like the love making crooner that he is.

Ron Isley

He’s still the man! Ron Isley didn’t look a bit of his 72 years. The “Between the Sheet” singer matched a black leather lapel velvet jacket with with striped loafers. We are here for this.
