Lenny Kravitz has locked down his next gig for Kravitz Design in a partnership with California retailer Fred Segal, according to WWD.
In their first designer collaboration in 50 years, the duo will reportedly create at least ten unisex items from fashion accessories and clothing to travel accessories and even a limited-edition motorcycle. Kravitz and his design company, responsible for Queen Latifah's talk show set, were the brainchild behind the partnership.
"I grew up shopping at Fred Segal and have always felt connected to the brand and what it stands for — a vibe of laid-back luxury that resonates far beyond Los Angeles," Kravitz said.
Prices for the collection will range from $100 for accessories to $100,000 for the bike. The products are expected to rollout in the second quarter of next year and will continue throughout a 12-month period.
"When we thought about launching Fred Segal's first designer collaboration in 50 years, we approached Lenny and his team at Kravitz Design," said Adam I. Sandow, chairman and chief executive officer of Sandow (owner of Fred Segal).
"With his L.A. roots, sense of style and impeccable eye for design, Lenny really understands the Fred Segal brand and aesthetic. He was the perfect partner for our inaugural exclusive collection."
Now, that's a good look.
