YMC Plays Up "Post Punk Edge" On The London Collections' MEN A/W Runway 2013

Oh boy! Whoever said the fellas couldn't strut their stuff on the catwalk were sadly mistaken.

Short for "You Must Create," clothing brand YMC "created" quite the stir on the runway, while helping to jump start the UK's menswear calendar at the London Collection on January 8th. The biannual showcase in England spotlights both the "creative and commercial importance of Britains brands and emerging talent as well as the rich cultural landscape that contributes to the inspiration and success of this sector."

Founded by Fraser Moss in 1995, YMC's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is a understated mix of classic clothing with a twist. I feel the uniqueness of British fashion comes from our youth culture which has inspired for decades," said the designer who hales from Wales. "I also think that mens overall awareness of design has increased over the past few years, in turn creating a bigger demand for intelligent menswear.
