'50s style with a futuristic feel? Pharrell Williams' got a clear vision for it.
The "Get Lucky" singer is teaming up with French fashion brand Moncler to create a collection of unisex sunglasses that will pair classic fashions with a modern look. WWD reports the shades are made from a single piece of titanium and will play off the concept of an oversized mask.
The label's Chief Executive Officer Remo Ruffini stated, "[Williams] represents the very best of all that is contemporary, creative and international, the same characters that underpin the entire Moncler project and the Moncler Lunettes collection."
In 2009, Williams designed a line of jackets for the brand with prints by Japanese artist Keita Sugiura.
And with his boyish good looks, why wouldn't Williams model his own creations? He's set to appear in the advertisement campaign.
The sunglasses will go on sale in stores and online later this month and are expected to debut at the Silmo eyewear fair in Paris on Sept. 26, the same day Moncler opens its new flagship store in Paris.
