We’re serving you the best advice for your summer getaways because we want you to look good without the hassle. Seriously. No one feels like packing every single beauty product they think they need for a quick weekend getaway. On top of that, the point of a getaway is to really…getaway.

Minimalism is key for a relaxing vacation and your beauty routine should follow. So, we’ve got the only beauty products you really need.

Waterproof eyeliner:

This is probably a “duh” beauty product, but a lot of women forget to invest in a good waterproof liner. You’ll never have to worry about touch ups with the Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner (which also comes in 8 different colors). Oh, and get this: it’s sharpens every time you screw the cap back on. Genius.

Blush in Bronze or Mauve:

Why these colors? Because they can both easily double as an eye shadow as well and won’t make your face look monotone crazy. Bronze is great because it’ll warm your face in a natural way. Mauves are perfect because they give you a seductive look that also makes it appear that you’ve put on a full face. Remember, you’re going minimalist here, so whatever you use on your face has to give the illusion that you actually are wearing a full face of makeup when you really aren’t. A good bronze suggestion is the MAC Powder Blush in Ambering Rose. For an easy, on-the-go mauve, try Topshop’s shimmery blush in Aorta.

Do we even have to explain this one? We didn’t think so. Mascara is the eye’s secret weapon to looking sultry. A few coats will really change how they pop, so pick up a good one from your local drugstore like the Maybelline Volum’ Express Mega Plush Mascara.

Mattifying Moisturizer:

Why not have 2-in-1 when it comes to moisturizing your face? You’ll probably be out and about, so you don’t want to worry about your skin getting super oily throughout the day. Invest in the First Aid Beauty Oil-Free Mattifying Gel moisturizer, and you’ll kill two birds with one stone.

Best nude and/or berry lip:

They both look great for day and night. Berry lips will go great with your mauve blush, and nude lips with your bronze blush. No matter what you do, make the time to find your best berry and nude lip colors.
