6 Fashion and Beauty Trends To Leave In 2013

These fads have worn out their welcome

Life should be all about progression, and to be honest, we've moved way past these fashion and beauty fads that saturated the scene. May the new year bring nothing but chic moments -- sans these tired trends.

Wedged Sneakers
This trend managed to piss of its creator, Isabel Marant. What started out as a stylish way to add some height to your kicks turned into the invasion of countless knockoffs.

All Leather Everything
Leather will never go out of style, but as of late, it's been abused. From leather sweatshirts to leather jogging pants (in the dog days of summer), we've had our fill of this skin trend.

Versace Print
No matter how many times you say it (we're looking at you Migos and Drake), we just don't see it for this baroque-style print. Those were the '90s, this is 2014.

Stiletto Nails
Nail trends are ever-changing, but the newest wave leans toward a more natural shape (oval or slightly squared). The dangerously pointy "stiletto nails" have become a thing of the past.

If you can name three scenarios in which a grill is appropriate (and necessary), by all means, keep your shiny fronts.

A Doobie (Or Wrap) & Bobby Pins, in public
This isn't exactly a trend yet, but if it ever catches on, we have Rihanna to thank. Glamour magazine called it a stunning "faux pixie crop," we call it bedroom hair. And that's where it should stay.
